I don't think she killed herself, there's no indication why she would suddenly decide to do that. Like what in particular would spark that choice? I guess maybe she was just sad all this time and hiding it, but I don't know. The show would show her doing it if it didn't want to be intentionally ambiguous.

Both this and Prometheus were trash tier Alien films. Better technical execution and performances than Resurrection, but Resurrection was actually less dumb than both and more fun, so it's a wash.
