This dude is a fucking nut.

Perfect comment/avatar synergy

There's always been something kind of endearing about him. You know there's a man with a soul under there, it peeks out when he smiles sometimes, like he knows that we know that he doesn't really want to be there. Sometimes I bet he wishes he was just back in that easter bunny costume and hugging Dubya. Simpler times.

I still think about how brilliant it was in Season 1 that they had us thinking Howard was the villain the entire time up until the finale. The writing in this show sometimes outdoes even Breaking Bad.

He's the best host they've had since Billy Crystal, so this is smart.

No one is going to do a better job at peddling this shit than Spicey.

Good.

All of these cameos are great. Every single one of them fall before Walt.

What does "natural causes" mean when you're only 68? That's far too young to just die without health complications.

He did Into Darkness, which was almost universally panned for its writing. But I do wonder if he'll ever do his own movie.

Because the dude was blatantly a con man, and i think it even calls him an imposter in the ep synopsis.

Amazes me how he's one of the best TV writers ever yet pretty much sucks at doing films.

Amazing episode. Matt isn't just the best written character on the show, he's one of the best written characters in TV history. Eccelston's best part as well.

Moving to a place like Italy on a whim is not something anyone but very rich people can do. One of the most glaring problems with this show is it seems to occupy some false reality where it views its own subjects as regular people, and doing stuff like this is just typical. It isn't.

This isn't an A episode. It shouldn't be as easy as simply being aware of and superficially referencing The Bicycle Thief, because that's all this episode was.

So how does Katherine Waterson stack up as Noomi Rapace's replacement? Her agent must be really good, all of a sudden she's in all these huge movies and Rapace is doing kind of shit films.

RIP Miguel :(

Nothing about that plot makes sense, and Varga is a shitty character.

Last week had some stuff I really liked, particularly the old Hollywood bits, but this episode just continues the true absence of anything really pulling me in or sparking the magic Season 1 and 2 had. It's like this one really is the bootleg-ass version of the original film that the Coen's always feared, while Season

A step down from Season 1 and 2, and in my opinion a massive step down.
