Rolling coal is a failure of air supply, not a failure of fueling. A diesel that is rolling coal would not make more power if you reduced fueling until it was burning clean. Diesel doesn’t quench like gas, its reduction reaction (what makes the soot out of diesel) is hot enough that cyl temps (and power) increase

If there was a scale for somethings ability to resist decomposition, it would start from the bottom like;

When I see a gallery of photos that consists of less than every angle of the car it tells me the owner is listless or hiding something. When the owner only takes one 3/4 view of the car’s exterior and takes it twice while it resides solely in a poorly lit garage but is willing to get on the ground to take a poorly lit

Also, check for a trans cooler! Big downfall of the V8 swap is that people don’t hook the trans cooler back up and it gets cooked.

That’s not a stock rear axle. I couldn’t tell you exactly what it is, but the gussets b/w the pumpkin and axle tubes and there’s extra bracketry that appears to be for a panhard rod mount in a coil sprung application.

I’ve fwallen, and I can’t get up!

Nah. It’s definitely a 5.0 Windsor engine. It’s just not out of a 2001 Mustang. Unless it was swapped into that pony car first.
