Does anyone remember the illuminated reflective license plate filler plates from the 80’s that seamlessly joined the left and right tail lights together?

When will anyone learn? If you are looking for a true time capsule find an example with an Automatic. Any “true” car person knows that a 5 speed swap is easier than thousands in body work and countless hours hunting down interior bits that are in good condition.

A jump box won’t start a car with a 100% dead battery but it would wake up an engine with a little juice left. It would have been much quicker than swapping the battery.

The transmission in your 2002 xc70 is extremely fragile. Go easy on it.
