You’re missing the point. Gunn merely said that G3 is after IW. It doesn’t mean that it is set after IW. He could just be referencing that G3 will be released after IW.

Scientologists were called out for buying up L Ron Hubbard books (in droves) and then returning them. I wouldn’t put it past them to support a Travolta film movie.
RE: Guardians.
I got a serious Lucifer-like (Sympathy for the Devil not Fox TV series) vibe in the station’s inner sanctum. There was such a “I can’t do it, only you can” feeling from Miller that was almost Faustian in the way it played out.
Also frozen - in space.
Yes, but they haven’t shown the rest of the ship. I know it wasn’t completely finished in the book and it had numerous mechanical problems, but, if memory serves, there were a few scenes that showed the interior. or am I conflating with Cibola Burn?
Another great episode. I’m slightly disappointed that they aren’t showing that Behemoth is a generation ship, but I understand the cgi - and cost - implications. It’s also possible that they show’s version isn’t as completed as the books’ version.
Nice callout to Qian Xuesen, the Chinese aerospace engineer.
I just finished Tyson’s Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. It’s a fairly good, if often simplistic, overview of the history of astrophysics as well as the universe. I’d recommend it to anyone that can get passed his dad jokes.
Repeat after me: NO MORE PREQUEL ORIGIN STORIES!!!
My head canon had all of the ships tighter and snugger but Ty Franck put it the best - there has to be room for the cameras and the crew.
The Last Sharknado? What will happen to Ian Ziering’s career when they’re done?
Endorsed! Merchant IS Riddler.
In 1977 I saw Star Wars around 20 times and read the Alan Dean Foster novelization twice. Seeing the movie spurred my interest in movie making so a friend and I created a short and horrible film in Super 8mm that got coverage in the local paper.
I’ve done this for years, particularly with names. I just add [Gentleman] or [Policeman] in my text. I can search for the brackets to find places that need to be updated.
Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Baby Carl, seen doing a hell of an Andy Griffith and Opie cosplay.
I’m shifting back and forth between the iPad and 10.5" Pro primarily because of latency using Pencil and the SmartConnector. Did you notice a latency issue and if I want to use a keyboard, is the SmartConnector worth the extra expense?
That’s the problem with actually-manufactured “fake news” (and I’m not calling it out on this photo). The experts can make a news article look just enough right to be believable.
