Imagine…an actual hotep convention….the egos in that room…
best wig she's worn on this show in my opinion.
I thought Gabrielle's interviews on this film and Nate Parker were nuanced and fair. I just gotta see this movie,
Very true. I still need to the film myself so maybe my dismissal of historical inaccuracies will change.
I have such an eternal conflict with myself every-time I slightly laugh at a Madea film.
I think people need to move on from the "this movie is historically inaccurate" argument because if it was sometimes the story would be boring. Artistic license always comes into play with big theatricals. BUT with that being said. I think the reason BOAN didn't do well was because of Nate himself. PR wise those…
I never say the N-word because it sounds so lame when I say it..I do get a kick how some people can make it a noun, a verb, an adjective, and a pronoun without skipping a beat…
I think it's also important to realize this as well..If you vote for Trump America will have to look at his Patrick Bateman-ish sons.
They both probably bathe in roofy cologne
I dunno. I wasn't a huge fan of his stand-up and he's not that great of an actor. Eh I dunno..just not my cup of tea.
Agreed.
Yeah he's too much…it's like okay dude, we get it..you like black women and you were on ComicView a bunch of times…
Gary Owen always kinda irked me though…
I use to go to this salon where there was a white manicurist. She was pretty dope too
Omg yeah he was beside himself happy…plus they did a great job on his beard from what I remember. haha
he aight
Yeah..same here. I thought he was cute for like 5 mins…but the dude with the beard on HTGAWM is hawt!!!!
I dated this white guy for awhile who raved about the time he wandered into a black barber shop to get his hair cut. They talked about The Knicks, how Patrick Ewing sneaks were underrated, weed, how guys who can't hold there liquor is the worst man in the world, and of course big butts.
The Matt McGorry shade. Though harsh, was completely justified.
It's all about owning your disorder and understanding that it's a apart of you…but it should never consume you. Easier said than done of course.
