500 GB should be plenty for each console. I don't need to have copies of every game I own, only those I play regularly. I can always re-download. It's a model that has worked well with Stream for the past decade - my gaming PC SSD is only 100 GB - so I'm not worried about space issues with this gen of consoles.

Oh yeah, absolutely. Even though I would be fine using an Xbone sans drive, I'd be pissed that MS sold me a broke-ass console. If I paid for it, it better work and MS ought to be snipping that problem in the bud before it turns into a real thing. Honestly, given the RROD fiasco, I'm surprised they let any problems

Forza has always had that on stick too, so I'm not sure why this point was made. Is there any game that doesn't give you right stick control of view?

You only have one of them? You poor thing.

I'm saying one doesn't work at all and one does everything I'd want from it. Not that I buy/rent physical media anymore (Blu-Ray, the 8-track tape of 2005!), but at least an Xbone with a bad drive can connect to the internet, download movies, games, music, and do its TV pass-through nonsense, etc. All the busted PS4

They usually do win the reviews for people with TinyHands. MS has long catered to the adult male hand.

I don't have either console yet, but I'd have to say that the blue light of death is much worse than a busted optical drive. The blue light is a dead PS4, the dead drive just means you can load a disc. One of the things I'm looking forward to most in this generation is never having to go into another retail store

Angry birds is the other problem. I paid $.99 a few years ago and they've kept releasing free new levels ever since. How am I ever going to give them money for all of the other Angry birds games if they won't let me finish the first one?

Fair enough, but to simply acknowledge the performance as one would any other impressive feat by talented young children is to entirely ignore the facts of existence. NK produces children like this, not as a celebration of the arts, but to be propaganda showpieces. Recognizing the talent is inextricable from

Great game. In fact, due to the success of the OGRE Designer's Edition kickstarter, Steve Jackson game is going to be re-releasing it in a new edition in the near-ish future.

I, for one, object to the French appropriation of Croation neckwear. If you aren't a Croatian mercenary, you shouldn't be wearing a necktie - end of discussion.

I think if a person is pointing out traits of a highly dysfunctional society that they dislike, a totalitarian society that most humans find somewhat repugnant, you don't need to announce out that it is offensive or demeaning. That is very much the point. There are only a handful of people on the planet genuinely

I can't quite bring myself to be a fan, but Red Bull's pit crew really earned my respect on Sunday. Before the race, they pulled out a car and kept doing practice stops. A couple of other teams eventually pulled out cars after a while and did one or two tire swaps before wheeling the car back in. Most teams didn't

Thanks $kay! She might want to put the top up before she leaves. This time of year it can get a bit nippy.

So these guys don't wanna waste time on people who can't actually buy? What about buyers who don't want to waste time on cheap-ass "car companies" that can't even pony up $4.84/month for the Premium hosting package?

Yep, I'm a chucklehead. I was speaking about Turn 1, not realizing this was just about the next crash in lap 1. Having been present, I leapt to the (often mistaken) conclusion that I knew what I was talking about. I shoulda watched these vids before I started typing. I will stand by my more general points about

Not exactly F1. Just the current Lotus car. They can't use the F1 name or logo anywhere and there are no other modern F1 cars that I know of. I'm not sure if KERS or DRS are implemented at all. Still, being able to run it around Laguna Seca or Sebring should be a blast. Codemasters doesn't have the freedom to

Thrustmaster and Mad Catz have wheels that are either already out or due out in the next couple weeks. There don't seem to be any high-end wheels on the horizon, though.

You are right. There was, however, an equally big clusterfuck at turn 1 on the first lap.
