Actually, knowing that his car exceeds his abilities and letting the Vette pass was pretty responsible of him.

Everybody's car get's dinged by other cars. Don't by an $80k car if you're not really capable of dealing with correspondingly expensive dings.

Fair enough. I'll plead ignorant to just about all parts of the motorcycle world. I kinda assumed that there was a universal camaraderie amongst all bikers. I guess I was wrong, but it seemed to me that bikers, who are literally covered head to toe in a way that makes race irrelevant, wouldn't be judged on anything

As far as I know, they may ALL be black bikers except for the two people who took off their helmets. What the hell does that have to do with anything?

Yup. I was perfectly happy buying every damn thing they released for Forza4. I was really eager to buy Forza Horizon too...until I played the demo. Oh well, not for me, I'll just keep buying DLC until Forza5. Ooops. Looks like no more for me. The worst thing is that Turn 10 is only minimally involved with

The Forza 4 engine apparently has problems with open-wheel vehicles and I suspect the same holds true for the Forza Horizon variant of it. A 3 wheel vehicle may also be outside of the assumptions of most car physics engines.

But still probably worlds better than the horrible old Gorbalds, which it was intended to remedy.

How is BBC different than other "big corporations" other than the funding mechanism? For every big media conglomerate that you advocate stealing from, there are hundreds of small production companies that are affected. There aren't super-villains sitting on piles of money in entertainment, just multitudes of small

If only there were some way of restraining small children to prevent this from happening in case of an accident. Oh Russians, you just don't seem to care.

That's a silly argument. They wear helmets when they're doing dangerous work, why shouldn't they wear them when engaging in dangerous play?

You know most military spending doesn't end up in the account of service men and women, right? Most of it goes straight to contractors of one sort or another. I wouldn't complain at all if individuals in the armed services got a raise. I don't even have a problem with building kart tracks for their R&R. But this

Pure carnivore myself too, but I agree it would certainly be hard to justify the energy and oxygen cost of raising meat in any kind of colony. Plants, OTOH, generate O2.

I think he's misunderstanding what's great about Top Gear UK. It isn't the novelty of whatever they get up to, it's the quality. The footage is beautiful, they have great, editors, great writers, and - yes, James - great hosts. Sure, fans watch crappy versions of things before they are meant to be released and we

I assume the VPN they use while working from home forces all traffic (or at least all DNS queries) through their work computer. They probably did this during work hours.

Nope. They violated the terms of their employment. They signed an agreement promising not to divulge information about their work and then they broke that promise.

Yup. I understand the annoyance with the guys in the showy helmets. But I've got a basic white Bell that's not going to impress anyone. It is, however, clean. It also fits and doesn't require any adjustment. I also take my neck protector to indoor tracks that require them for the same reason.

I disagree with you about the ability of tablets to handle wargaming. Mobile devices have potential wargaming strengths that don't exist elsewhere. They can handle the basic tabletop model quite ably, retaining all of the complexity while offloading the bookkeeping portion to the computer. Mobile allows for regular

It was guys like these? Off-road hoons perpetrated the 9/11 attacks? If that's true, then only Australia is taking the threat of terrorism seriously.

What? Why? Bondo isn't expensive and it's much easier to do the job with. Even if you can get play-doh to dry without cracking, it won't easily sand to a smooth finish the way Bondo does. It seems like he manage to defraud customers without saving himself much effort.

TGUK is currently the most widely syndicated show...in the world. It has a huge budget (approx. 4 million pounds/ep, IIRC) and a very long schedule. It's unfair to compare it to a low budget (not sure, but def. under $500k/ep.) History show. Because it is so cheap to make, it doesn't take very high numbers to
