Okay, this is a show for Hungary, a fairly small market that has zero chance of selling its shows into foreign syndication because of the language barrier. Whatever budget they have up front is all the money it is ever going to make. And yet, they managed to put together a beautifully shot, tightly edited show with

Dude, I'm sorry if you feel like I'm attacking your idol. I made fun of him for doing something silly to a Segway and you defend him with a sentence that begins "He ask[sic] West Coast Customs to...". Unless they have a sideline expertise in accessibility mods, all you did was shift the silliness away from the rims

It's not just the iPhone-ization of cars. It's also the fact that cars are designed by car-designers, who have no training in human interface design. A well laid out console with intuitive control placement is a rare thing; most cars have controls place without too much though - if there's a space, it's good enough.

Nope, he was mocking the man for being the head of a company that is in the business of swindling customers with grossly overpriced, average quality cables and backing up their pricing with pseudo-scientific BS.

Then you're like me (and I'm only 6'5") HATE sunroofs.

Aside from some of the light and fascia details, this isn't really concept-y. It seems like a conservatively designed Toyota sedan that could go into production with minor changes. The design language looks like what Toyota has been doing with the Prius extended to the Camry niche. It's handsome, but not

Thank you for that, even it was preceded by a scolding. The question I asked - my real point - still stands, however. A patent covering aspects of this goal, even without a functioning unit, would be worth far more than $10 million, to say nothing of working tech. With such powerful economic incentives already

This IT guy drives a Flex, but that's mostly on account of being 6'5" and needing my kids to fit behind me without breaking their legs. Otherwise it'd be a wagon: German or Cadillac.

Do X Prize winning submissions surrender any rights to their creations? $10 million seems a pitifully small amount of money compared to the value of technology that could successfully accomplish this goal, so I wonder if the most capable potential applicants would have an incentive to actually avoid the competition.

Not sure about the Code, but the Tru is definitely FWD according to the article.

It's not hate, it's apathy. There's nothing distinctive or new about it. Just an assemblage of other cars' design language. Meh.

I'm not sure that those would make interesting game elements. It sounds like a car version of Barbie Fashion Designer, not an actual car game that anyone would want to play.

No perfect, but another positive step in the march to dis-embangle BMW design.

So, they took a Giuletta and beat it with the beige stick until it looked like a Civic?

Are you suggesting that unlocks and advancement should be fun? That players should just be able to play around and be rewarded for it? That's heresy! Advancement should only be parceled out to players who grind through the prescribed experience regardless of how little they may be interested in playing that way.

Bad Nibbles! You should never eat $kaycog's COTD award comment images. NEVER!

The new monitor works fine in a mdp jack. I've got a few here plugged straight into the mdp on GT120s no problem.

You can connect Apple monitors to non-Macs as well. Depending on the computer it may require an adapter, but mini-display port is an open standard even if Apple has been the biggest proponent of it.

Props for the IAM reference!

WTF? Isn't the whole point of a banana that it comes pre-wrapped in a thick, protective jacket straight from the bunch?
