Except this is a product that - with the exception of moving from PowerPC to Intel architecture in '06 - has changed as little as possible since it was introduced in '03. Arguably a pretty steady continuation from the G2 based towers of the late 90s. Nothing at all standard about this for them.

I don't think these address whatever is causing the very quick drainage a lot of 4S owners are seeing. I had all of these turned on (as well as WiFi and Bluetooth) and use my phone heavily and get about the same battery life as I got on my 3GS (~36 hours with my normal usage level).
