I hope the neighbors feel like they should have tried a little harder. Interesting houses, even those that fail aesthetically (not this one, which I like, for the record) deserve so much more credit than the cookie-cutter nonsense put out by bottom-of-the-class architects working for large developers.

Now it's illegal to videotape cops in many places. Problem solved, right?

Lovely profile, but there's just something about the A-pillars that really bugs me. Would look much better if they'd gone flush to the door edges with the glass.

Back in the late 80s/early 90s, triads were robbing HK banks and jewelry stores using grenades and actually used them enough times that people knew they weren't empty threats.

It's the internet - all the girls are men.

Benghazi and surrounding areas are no longer under Qaddafi's control. I'm sure he bailed out in an area that wouldn't put him into Qaddafi's hands again.

I really hope your parents didn't name you Razor Face.

A product is worth exactly what customers are willing to pay for it. Nothing has inherent value until the moment of purchase, after which it reverts to having at most a potential value. "Overcharging" only makes sense as a concept if your price point is too high and people aren't buying.

@AlphaGeek

Uncharted is going to be VERY propulsive! Perhaps it will the propulsivest movie ever made. We can only hope.

That thing better turn into a big robot, 'cause there's no excuse for a vehicle that awkward looking unless it can transform.

@scrapplejoe: A developer getting 70% of the retail price is unheard of. If you think Apple is ripping off developers and not doing anything for their cut, you've got no idea how little of the conventional retail price goes to a product's maker. Retailer, distributor, and publisher all suck up big chunks leaving

I only had it in mind because I made exactly the same error when a friend showed me the trailer. He corrected me likewise.

@Rev Slow: But your reply just begs the question, what is quality? If a run-of-the-mill axe cuts well and lasts a long time, what exactly is improved by buying a FancyAxe? If I have a very expensive process for custom making an axe, but the handcrafted result is no better than something banged out in a Chines

@minibeardeath: It's Asgard, home of the gods. Valhalla is for fallen human heroes.

CP. The weight shift from the transplant is gonna ruin the reason that you get a Miata - perfectly balanced handling.

@Windhawk: Any business that deals with customer service has to deal with these people.

How are they saying "screw you"? Did you not get the game you paid for? Anything after that initial sale is gravy. Three years on and they can't keep you happy, huh? We are talking about $60 max here, right? Even if the game didn't work out of the box, $60 wouldn't warrant your comment a month later, much less

Maybe they mean in the area immediately below the main terminal space, where the Oyster Bar is. There is still open space down there and the Oyster Bar doesn't seem to bring in the business it did 10 years ago. Perhaps they'll clear out the whole area. Not a lot of walls to begin with, though.

You can't sign any agreement that would expose you to criminal penalties for contractual infractions. These types of cases rest on the provisions within the DMCA which refer to circumventing protections and have nothing to do with EULAs or other licensing agreements.
