I was told in the past that the license plate thing is actually misleading. The serial number on the truck is their license plate.

I’d rather they turn away EVs from parking there during the sprinkler upgrade, than one EV taking 6 hours to put out and burning the whole building in the process. That’s not counting the chances of fumes being more toxic than a regular ICE car fire in a very confined space.

Update* Tesla went above and beyond to fix my truck today and get it back to me this afternoon. Very happy. The Tesla Pensacola service center stepped up and did an awesome job. They even detailed the truck before I picked it up. It was all covered by warranty. I’m very pleased.
