That’s because players voted on it, and Robertson was in his 2nd season while Bill Russell was at the top of his game and basically revered by everyone. Wilt averaged 50 points and 25 rebounds (his best season as a pro), and came in way behind Russell in voting.
Except that’s turnovers per game, and not turnover rate. Those are two different statistics.
But who’s really a victim here? A stupid bookie who was dumb enough to set up a prop bet like this? There’s no conflict of interest between athlete and team in this scenario.
The seemingly obvious counter to that is, looking at the league leaders in rebounds, it’s completely dominated by 4s and 5s.

NE has a top 5 fanbase in terms of size. Cowboys fans can’t use computers. Packers fans are docile. Broncos fans don’t have an attitude problem.
I’ve outnerded you here. That mark is surpassed by the 1962 Houston Oilers, who threw a combined 28 INTs in...Jeppesen Stadium (?) led by 23 of George Blanda’s 42 INTs for the season. And that was only in 7 games.
