you seem to forget that old, boring people have a lot of money.

i'll be honest... the styling makes me think "toyota" more than "subaru."

thank you. i just realized there's a specific name for this effect:

and i still think you haven't taken any calculus courses. I have a general science degree, life and mathematics as the sub-specialties. physics was also one of the general courses i had to take.

you don't even have to be at the center. that's the fun part. all vectors cancel out at any point within a hollow sphere.

you kinda need to take a calculus course to figure out the math behind it, but from within a perfect sphere all attractive forces of gravity from the mass surrounding you cancels out.

actually, if the center of the earth was hollowed out in a perfectly uniform manner, the entire empty cavity would be zero G.

i got one, but they really need to work on the fabric part of the backpack. my shoulder straps were tearing after less than a year of use.

i can't believe they even bothered to throw a scope on it.

actually, it's about 3,300 pounds heavier than vapourware. "existence" is a property that makes the things I own much better, IMO.

it means you're supposed to take a minute of silence to remember those who fought in wars for you, dumbass. now be quiet, stand up, keep your hands out of your pockets and REFLECT ON THE FREEDOM YOU ENJOY.

just make sure you get your flu shot before attending...

Now playing

i believe this calls for some appropriate music.

did somebody say Aston Martin?

i believe they've confirmed a power bump, but haven't stated exact numbers yet... wait till the LA auto show.

as I said in the first post, gestures are good for intuitive, large motions (most of which are analog). point in that direction, go in that direction. but there's plenty of functions- especially since electronic space isn't real space- that simply don't have intuitive, natural motions to go with it. for example,

e.g. holding a button down. whenever you move on a trackpad or touchscreen, you need to hold your finger down already, so it needs a separate gesture to indicate click and hold/drag. apple's magic trackpad was an instant fail for me when i played around with it for this reason.

here's the one big problem with gestures vs buttons, and why buttons will still win:

it shouldn't need a veto. voting against net neutrality does nothing but hurt citizens and help corporations. you can tell what these so-called "people's representatives" are actually representing.

and yet 46 facist congressmen still exist. the internet won't be safe until they're gone.
