I get that to some degree, but I am puzzled by what the hope is in terms of outcome. Do you actually think that your attorney can get around what appears to be a mountain of evidence? Obviously, I am not savvy in legal matters.

Probably not. My understanding is that it puts it on the prosecutor to prove you are guilty. But, is the hope that the cops screwed up somewhere or that there is a loophole to exploit? Why not hurry up the process and get it out of the way?

But, what would you think the outcome would be? Why would it be advantageous to go that route rather than to plead guilty like the other guy involved did?
