Not saying I agree or disagree, just genuinely curious.... why was this story headlined to be specifically about a black woman? What does that add to the story? Was this at all debated editorially?

The Devils almost killed hockey with their neutral zone trap. While nobody (almost nobody?) blamed them for exploiting the rules, the league was forced to change rules - and enforcement of existing rules - to save hockey.
