I’m an old person so I’d have to Google most of those terms but what I think you’re saying is “Man murdered teenager. Man took graphic pictures of dead teenager and posted to social media as trophy. Man’s followers and public media began victim shaming dead teenager”.
People are idiots. I was behind a lady at a street meat cart in NY freaking out at the vendor for warming up the pita for her falafel sandwich on the same grill as he cooked the chicken/lamb. The damn cart was less than 2 feet wide, you can’t really expect him to have a separate non-meat griddle, can you?
If you think about it, any vegetarian option in a restaurant that also serves meat is 100 percent likely to have accumulated bits of animal grease and particles that are floating in the air due to the cooking and construction of meat dishes.
People are fine, vegetarians are weird. Also cyclists.
Lol. So some people have a problem that a product that is made from the milk of goats or cows is being fried in vegetable oil that also happened to fry other meat products. People are weird.
I’m a world-renowned problem solver and this one is easy.
I’m regretting this as I type it, but this is a way restaurants can get your butt in the seat and order, then spring the added cost at the last minute. I support paying benefits, but I hate this sneaky crap. Just roll it into menu pricing with a note on the menu. I’m wondering which MOA place this is, as I very well…
Agreed, I absolutely think food delivery apps have something to do with the delays, and I think in turn it affects not just worker productivity and well-being, but ultimately customers as well. In the past, I never waited more than 2-3 minutes for my food at my neighborhood McDonald’s. Since they started delivering…
I blame everyone who is ordering McDonald’s or whatever via Uber Eats. They also have the computer terminal kiosks where I live, so when you’re in line waiting, you are also waiting behind however many invisible Uber and kiosk orders.
That’s the long-term cost of all these “efficiency” gains. You can make anyone work harder and longer to get more widgets produced in the same 24 hours, but you will net diminishing returns as the workers become progressively more exhausted. Eventually the quality goes down, the workers have to take more sick leave,…
“Some of them will listen to criticism from fellow conservatives.”
You misspelled Tuesday.
McCain is a hypocritical piece of trash but I’m glad she said this. Conservatives will never listen to criticism from liberals. Some of them will listen to criticism from fellow conservatives.
this is what people think all conservatives are now, and we are not.
Is it though? My experiences are certainly anecdotal, but I can’t help but feel like most fast food restaurants have gotten noticeably worse in recent years, to the point I expect to wait upwards of ten minutes for a simple order.
However she was attacked for playing a Caucasian person in Ghost in the Shell. She wasn’t playing an Asian, she was playing a Robot designed to look Caucasian for reasons integral to the plot. And people attacked her for not giving this role of a Caucasian Robot to an Asian person to play. It has gotten silly for…
Kelly Clarkson is right. Taylor could go full Frank Sinatra.
Trying to shame her for these things is ludicrous.
Supergirl having a trans character with a storyline that touches on her trans-ness: cool.
