Eh, Kira's not a allison stand-in by any means, no matter how much fighting ability they hand-wave to give her. I don't see how you can say she's more "developed" either, considering how little we know about her.
Allison was great in the role of bad-ass normal, too bad it took them a while to flesh out more of her…
I didn't actively ship them, but I did find their puppy love very adorable. I think they had good chemistry for what the story wanted. I didn't mind them not together though, it was nice for a show to just say "well people break up all the time and want to bone other people"
Yeah I agree with TW's problem against women. It doesn't hate them, it just really care all that much. Which still sadly leads to its own problems that should be addressed.
The damsel aspect was also weak because its not like they were going to purposefully ignore the nogitsune, especially with Stiles' life seemingly tied to it. From a writing side, her purpose was to serve as a sounding board for evil!stiles, but they failed to do anything else with her, which bugged me.
a dragon mummy? that sounds awesome!
Question what was Lydia even doing there? I remember the Nogitsune saying something about her being a kind of hostage or something to ensure his survival in case it all went to hell, but then she just wasn't.
I don't remember that, but I would have preferred a backstory rather than a lampshade
I could, once the dust settles from this adventure and all her friends are safe. I doubt she wanted to spend the rest of her life on Beacon Hills. There is so much in the world for her to see, not even just as a hunter. With about a full season of warning, it didn't have to be as awkward as Haynes' departure, but…
There's a sloppy, mary sue-likeness about it. Just one line of dialogue really is all it would take to fix about past training
Did Kira have prior sword training, because I thought she was a regular highschooler before this
Anyone else shocked that he was the one to recognize french? I smile wistfully at the older episodes with his word of the day calender.
I'm placing my bet on "merman"
I don't know, she could have gone somewhere else and still be an active hunter, and since they knew she was leaving since the beginning of last season I feel they could have done much more with her.
- So Parrish is definitely a supernatural creature of some sort, being "drawn to Beacon Hills" and all.
I'd settle for a spinoff of Elsbeth fighting anti-Semitic bears myself
I don't get it either. Does AVC think that if they let PDN do his schtick long enough he'll become as popular as an early millenia Simon Cowell?
Oh god yes most recent seasons of How I Met Your Mother. Main drama for Lily and Marshal is acting like the decision between judge and high-end art dealer is Sophie
s choice.
Somewhat reminded of the over-the-top ridiculousness of that REALLY terrible season of Dexter, where the staging of corpses should have been dependent on at least a team of professionals with all the time and had no fear of being discovered in public places.
What was that? For a second I thought he was the one who did it, reacting like its just a normal thing he sees at every SWAT team break in. Was he not concerned for anybody?
