ugh. I really hope this isn't the case, though it seems likely

The AV Club

With all the interviews with the writers talking proudly about their plans for Laurel, and all the time they've invested on her this season, it does make me very cautious. I really hope that self-delusion isn't at work. Somebody at the top HAS to know her character isn't working.

Oh thanks for reminding me about Helena, Alasdair. Makes Oliver's judgement of Felicity telling Barry their secret very hypocritical. He's in no position to judge anyone after fucking up that big.

Merlin captured him, and Helena escaped last season

So I really liked this episode for the same reasons that everyone else did. But here are the few things still bothering me.

It also bothers me that the actress looks so young, way too young to have that much power. If not Pounder, then at least Gina Torres

Eh, I was using it as a relative term. If Ted, ever the romantic, gets to screw his way through New York while looking for his true love, I feel that the mother should as well to at least some degree of a similar experience. Ted continually and actively searched for the love of his life while the mother waited for

Actually… yes

That bothered me too. It makes her even more of this idealized vision of "the mother'. Ted's been looking for the one, but he banged anyone he pleased, while the mother was in a 4 year seclusion before going into a long-term relationship that's not going anywhere. too much of a virginal MPDG

I doubt it. "Typical Obama, going after a high profile job creator like Mr. Bieber!"
