How is Takata even a company anymore? Did they ever actually sell an airbag that worked the way it was intended to?

It’s funny how Russia acts like a jealous, abusive ex to bordering countries like Finland and former Warsaw Pact allies like Estonia. They realized that life with the USSR/Russia as a primary ally was terrible, and now they are cozying up with a newer and nicer NATO allies.

Neutral: Edmunds seems to think so.

The Audi commercial was pretty moving, I thought (and no, they weren’t trying to cash in on Bowie, that song had been selected months prior to his passing). Hyundai also did a pretty good job at showing off new features available in their cars.

But really, it could also prevent any sort of engine modification, from ECU tunes to installing a turbo or a Cold air intake.

Jokes on you, we literally can never be third world, because we came up with the term to describe countries that weren’t aligned with NATO (first world) or Warsaw Pact (second world).

How does that happen? Aren’t trains the most predictable form of transit out there? Does nobody say “we have a train here on this track, going east, and a train on the same track, going west, this looks like it could cause an accident.”

Toyota itself can barely bring itself to give a shit. The Camry is just the same old thing with a newish face. the Corolla is just the same old thing with new face.

Oh the humanity! The FR-S driver I was behind last night must have heard the news already. Headlights off, driving 5-10 mph under the speed limit.

C-HR

This is only serving to confirm my suspicions that Honda (and to an extent Toyota) has started to cut corners and get lazy.

Flashing his lights at those in his way

the fact that they knew about this as far back as 2004 and did nothing

I really don’t think you need much more than 6 speeds. Maaaaaaaaaybe seven.

It couldn’t figure out what gear it wanted to be in, so it’s constantly changing, all the time. Also, every time I came to a stop at a light, it would downshift most unsmoothly, and you would lurch in your seat. That got very old.

Neutral: Good Riddance. The 200 was awful. That gearbox was so infuriating.

That’s basically most FCA though, isn’t it? Very snazzy looking, but once you spend some time with many of their products, you realize it just isn’t that well executed.
