It takes a special kind of evil to be so comically awful that if JK Rowling tried to include you as a villain in one of her books, most people would complain about how unbelievable you are as a villain.

If no, then I guess you may continue to enjoy dying in the grim world of dark souls or getting teabagged for 60 plus hours in COD.

Every LoZ game since OoT has been a 30+ hour affair. You can’t even really compare the two series. At this point I am sorry I even asked. I completely forgot the Nintendo can do no wrong brigade was gonna stomp in and piss themselves all over the comments section for daring to ask a question.

Hey bud, I’ve spent more money in my life on Nintendo products than anything not named fucking grad school. I understand how the games go. I also understand that everyone judges value by the dollar differently, which is why I asked what I thought was an innocent question about the length of the game. I play grim dark

Twitter will never ban the Nazis, that’s like 45% of their userbase and Jack relies on them too much for RTs when he talks about

And as I said, this is an argument where I am usually on your side, but when it comes to platformers with no story I am not. The Switch alone has two platformers in Shovel Knight and Hollow Knight that you can buy for a little more than half the cost of this game and they provide quite a long and rewarding experience,

So because a game can also be played and enjoyed by kids we shouldn’t pay attention how that could be different for adults who are playing and enjoying the game as well?

I get that, but TBH, unless a game is an absolute classic, I rarely revisit it. Yeah, I will replay Super Metroid or Super Mario World every few years, but that is few and far between and more often than not I buy a game like this, beat it, and never touch it again. On the Switch I buy most games digitally so I don’t

Because for some, $60 is their entire entertainment budget for a while. This is not the case with me now, but it was before. I totally get trying to get the most bang for your buck and spending $60 on a game you can beat in ten hours might not be worth as much as say downloading Fortnite for free and buying the season

I never said buying games was a bad deal. And I rarely will have a take like this, but platformers that are light on story are ones that I do take in to account how much they have to complete and replayability. I probably spend $250-$300 a month on games, but I am trying to cut down on that because my backlog is so

He’s the antithesis of Brett Gardner.

I don’t mind those. Is most open world games, extra stuff like collectibles in optional. Games in the Mario universe do the same thing, present a bunch of optional collectibles, they are just shoehorned into different self-contained levels.

You are correct, I read that wrong and thought the 8-10 hour thing was based on beating the game.

Yeah, we have a minor league team here in my town and most of my students and their families go to a lot of games there during the summer rather than spending the 3-4 hour round trip (and way more money) to go to Miller Park or Wrigley Field. I spend most of my summers in Florida and I will walk or bike to the Blue

Thanks. I haven’t played a Yoshi game in many years so I was kind of looking at it more from the angle of a Mario platformer.

Thanks. Make me think I will wait.

At the rate Nintendo games go on sale, I will be waiting a long damn time. Hell, even for the Mario week last week they put a bunch of Nintendo published games on sale, but only if you bought a Switch. If this was a Ubisoft or Activision published game, sure I would wait until May and get it for $30.

I rarely do. With a story based game, if you can give me a good story during that time, I will pay any amount for whatever length. However, with a platforming game that, let’s be honest, there isn’t a story to give a crap about, yeah, the amount of content and the time it takes to complete that content matters to me.

I’m super on the fence about this. It looks adorable as hell, but I am worried about paying $60 for a game that can be beat in 8-10 hours. Granted with all the games I am playing, that will probably take me a month, but it’s still not a lot of time for a platformer. How it the replayability comparable to Odyssey? I

TBH, I guess I am lucky. I don’t know a single teacher who openly supports Trump and his ilk. There is not a single one in my school who doesn’t loathe him and DeVos. I am in WI so I think years of Scott Walker beat all the conservative leanings that any teachers may have had. They have seen how bad it can get and it
