Yeah, I will do my usual thing that I do which is rent it or wait to find a used copy somewhere that I can return if it is too hard. I’m not giving From my money for something I can’t play.

No thanks. I prefer to be associated with people who play games who don’t try and denigrate others on their skill level of said games.

I’m a special education teacher. I have known literally hundreds of kids and adults with disabilities whose lives and livelihoods are special Olympics. To say I am infuriated by this is an understatement. But in no way am I surprised. People with disabilities don’t make people like Trump and DeVos money, so they are

I’ve played them for dozens of hours. Getting good isn’t happening for me. No worries. Plenty of other game for me to spend my time and money on. I don’t lose sleep over it.

I will say this about kids these days: having worked with 6-7-year-old kids in a low income area where I also was raised, the trauma these kids have seen and experienced pales in comparison to the shit baby boomers and my generation ever saw while growing up. I am now firmly convinced that essentially kids nowadays

Thanks. I have sworn off From games, but I was asking in case some of the adults with disabilities I work with ask me. This way I can let them know that there are some options available.

The difficulty complaints I have seen from hardcore DS and BB fans alone have assured that I will stay far away from this game forever.

Good, that makes me happy to hear. I won’t get into the difficulty discussion, but I am glad because I know a few people who couldn’t get into the DS games because of how prohibitive those games could be for people with specific mobility disabilities.

From has gotten a lot of flack in the past from gamers with disabilities for not having a lot of customization options to help them be able to enjoy their games. Maybe I missed it in the review but are there any in Sekiro (i.e. remapping controls, etc.)?

I have never even thought of doing this, but that is an amazing idea and I will do this with my next run on the Switch. Thanks!

That’s not the definition of insanity.

Ditto. There are only a handful of games that I will pretty much buy whenever they get a new release (while fully realizing this makes me a sucker). They consist of FF7, Super Metroid, and Resident Evil 4.

I’ll be honest, despite the fact that I have played FF7 on PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PSP, Vita, and Playstation Classic, I am still buying this on Switch as soon as I get home just so I can play it next week when I am on vacation and I can’t fucking wait.

Yes indeed I am. Those were the rumors we heard when we were kids too about her names. Apparently, it is nothing that bad. Just two things her mom wanted to call her. It is the one thing Beloiters can use to instantly know each other. Everyone knows about Marijuana Pepsi, even though most of us have never even met her.

Every year when I read this, I think of Marijuana Pepsi Jackson, who was an urban legend in my hometown when we were growing up until the Internet came around and we searched for her and found out that she was indeed real. She’s done quite well for herself too!

Deicide Huxtable is maybe the greatest name I have ever heard. I want to have a kid and change my last name just to name my kid this.

As someone with a Mike Tyson’s Punch Out chat code tattoo, I appreciate this!

Yup. Asking for help on this game and being told that you just haven’t banged your head against a wall enough and you just need to “git gud” is a reason I just don’t even try them anymore. Yes their are fans who do legitimately try and help you, but that also usually involves writing a short story length treatise on

I have seen so many people on twitter saying they are huge From fans, but this game just isn’t fun for them because of how difficult it is. I am sure many will figure it out, but it is not what I was expecting to see considering how rabid the FS fanbase is and how quickly they come out to defend them whenever they are

This is a fantastic idea!
