Speak with your dollars. Do not buy at Wally World.
Used for summer guests... has snow tires... yup that checks out.
Yeah. Also automatic.
An iron Duke powered Chevy Citation popped up for sale on FB in Villa Park .... Ewwww ....
I think that goes without saying.
Another culprit is often the PCV valve. That should be a relatively cheap and easy fix.
How much were the plans?
A little pricey at $6k, but nice
Exactly. In what fucking universe does something happen and affects absolutely nothing outside of it?
Even money says it will be from jackssuperfasttune Llc
Every car recommends premium that I’ve ever seen in my adult life. But I think all modern NA engines don’t really need it. The big thing Kia did was outright advertise that their engine is rated fine for regular. I’m guessing it’s marketing more than engineering. If I’m wrong though, someone will tell me.
I don't know, I kinda want to know how you got there
Sad day, was hoping you had audio of the startup.
That’s what I mean by not condoning this guy’s choices. It’s stupid to tune your engine for more hp and then use a fuel choice that will reduce your hp. I recognize that an aftermarket tune may change the tolerances of the engine, and I wouldn’t take extra chances with it.
Sorry had to post it as a photo, on mobile and Facebook wouldn’t let me copy paste, and it’s in a private group so link prob wouldn’t work.
That’s interesting; I just noticed one of my coworkers has a Subaru Ascent with a bent front crossbar. I wonder if the same thing happened to it, and it got bent by hitting a bump while loaded. That seems like a terrible design if it can happen at well below the rated capacity.
it needs AWD and a turbo, so I can crank up the boost
I won’t defend this guy’s life choices or his decisions with these particular cars. I will say it’s a legitimate choice with many of today’s engines to save money by using regular. You lose a little performance, but it doesn’t matter for most daily driving. You can use the high octane stuff on track day. My car, for…
I’m shocked I tell you...shocked
