I was lucky enough to own a first-gen (1972) in high school. It only had the base engine (tree-fiddy 2bbl) but it was a great car.

Thanks for getting hold of one to review!

Buck up, Mergio - maybe this will lead to bigger and better things.

I get the impression that this is close to the truth, that she was a victim dealing with her own internal conflicts.

I was born and raised on American V8's, but haven’t owned one in years. I want my next car to have one, in large part because it might be my last chance to ever buy a new car with an NA V8.

Still out of my price range, but that’s not bad!

Seems like an easy lawsuit for Krause to win here.

Hehehe - you are correct that I was not married when that occurred, although I am now (and not to her!!).

Bullet - dodged!

I don’t blame you! The one downside of that is the damage to your own car, though—

You’re lucky you didn’t hurt yourself rolling your eyes, I’m sure.

True, but to your credit, you admit that it’s your fault. In your case, the way your roommate parked was a contributing cause, to be sure.

Sometimes logic is futile...

Problem is more on this end, I think - still working on my morning coffee intake...

I think I misunderstood you in my first response - correct answer is not a damn thing, thankfully! And she certainly was never allowed to drive it!

Sorry, I used too many ‘ex’s’ there- - but this was actually a story she told me about her ex - before me. It was his car that she had hit, some years prior. Why she told me that story I have no idea - I think she honestly thought she was highlighting what a doofus her ex was.

Yeah, in my case, I was dumb enough to waste time trying to argue with her on why she was wrong. She was adamant that it was absolutely not her fault (apparently the ex parked the car in a different place than usual for whatever reason).

I had an ex who told me a story about backing out of her garage, and into her ex’s *parked* car. She told me that it was his fault for parking there.

This is a car I want to consider to replace my GS350 next spring - I want something a little visceral than that (low bar, I know...)

Wow - OK, I’ve seen and driven the Tesla, but I’ve never looked closely at the Challenger or Viper. That’s scary.
