PSA- it’s a cancer *preventing* procedure. When it’s time, get it done - it could save your life. And you’ll be asleep during it anyways.
H/T to Barnfinds.
Pull up at a stoplight behind a GL550 that has a sticker on the back that says “Smile, you’re on dashcam”. Light turns green, and a driver in a Jetta (with kids in the back FFS) tries to make a *very* late left turn in front of the now moving traffic, and fails, while nearly hitting a car in the left lane, gets honked…
205k miles, and it’s on BaT where it’s liable to be bid to a silly number. Someone has already posted a comment about how the 2.7TT is a ‘bullet proof’ engine.
Worst auto show ever. Mercedes was represented by the Metris and Sprinter. Das ist alles.
So, now that we have comments again, what song (or songs) always take you back to a specific moment in your life? Here are two from me:
I’m tellin’ ya, those V-tail Bonanzas are dangerous airplanes - they can even start themselves up and go cruising around the airport on their own.
Bring back Can-Am coolness - and I’m not talking about the Spyder, FFS.
Ooh, that’s cheap - let me give them a call...
Manual transmission, manual steering, manual brakes, manual windows.
Was sitting at a stoplight, and a small crossover (CRV?) turned in front of me and went by. I noticed something on the back of it, so I tried to figure what it was:
So I basically spent the week on A1A in Fort Lauderdale, where all of the cars are, and took almost zero pictures because lazy and vacation. But I did take note of the sounds they made (heavily influenced by how hard they were being driven) and here are the rankings:
And apparently they have a law on the books that *requires* you to hold a cell phone up at all times while driving.
Shouldn’t they call that version the Celica?
I spent 5 years of my life there, and this song captures it pretty accurately.
They look nice, and I’m sure they’re good cars. But if you buy one, please don’t get a cheap aftermarket exhaust - they sound like ass, and announce to the world that you didn’t spring for the Hemi.
