Someone who's not me said it best: With Cosby, it's not so much a case of "he said, she said", but more like "he said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said,

Joshua Tree is a good sample of "early U2" but it's overplayed as hell. I would have suggested you listen to Boy or War. If you don't like those, U2 is not for you (just don't make it October, the album in between those, which was one of the biggest misfires ever).

I fucking hate when people listen to music on headphones that's so loud it's audible to other people. They're HEADPHONES. They're supposed to confine the sound to you. If you want to destroy your own hearing, fine, but subjecting other people to the tinny buzz is downright rude.

I like that song, unironically. It's catchy.

U2 I'll allow was decent right up through All You Can't Leave Behind, but after that, meeeehhhh. And we're going back to 2000, now.

Make Believe was the album that turned me off Weezer. Maladroit kicked a reasonable amount of ass (just a reasonable amount).

Buuuut, he's black, and Trumpet believes that walking through black neighborhoods is like walking through Hell. Really depends on whether he likes fellow rapists more than he dislikes blacks and wants to throw them in prison.

Honestly, the most disgusting and alarming thing this administration has foisted on the populace is the idea that truth is malleable. Well, I mean, it existed before. I'd seen the idea floating around comment sections previous to this administration, but now it's the status quo. Call it postmodernism, call it moral

I have a personal rule of thumb that the more vociferously a person denies being racist, the more racist they are.

If Trump were discovered to have lied under oath about his private sex life

Press secretary Sean Spicer said yesterday we should expect an anti-marijuana crackdown under Trump.

I said "That is all", as in, those two tracks are sufficient proof of his brilliance, nothing more needs to be said. I apologize for any misinterpretation.

…I was putting those forth as examples of Wright's genius.

Indeed. The Naked Gun trilogy really is a case study in diminishing returns, though.

I love the anecdote about how the actor who played Rom was actually a minor league baseball player and had to bat and throw with the opposite hand in order to give the appearance of sucking at baseball on-screen.

It's in my 4 favorite Simpsons episodes, with Flaming Moe's, the Be Sharps episode, and the chili cookoff.

I've said it before: If the pitcher takes too long fucking around, call a ball against him. If the batter takes too long fucking around, call a strike against him. WITH walks and strikeouts being able to be awarded this way. That would knock that shit off real quick.

Ralph Wiggum: "I pick Ken Griffey Junior!"

DING-ERS!!!

Pretty much this. Though, it's a lifetime ban and not a forever ban, which is why I said I'd be fine with him getting in posthumously.
