PLEASE don’t let it be a cheaped-out mess like the CLA. There’s a way to do a compact luxury car right and the CLA isn’t it. The interior looks/feels like a company making a cheap car just to get people in the door. The A3, for example, feels like a luxury vehicle for someone who just wants a small car.

Short sellers have been bashing TSLA for years, and they have been on losing side of that argument time after time. There have been plenty of them since well before the stock even hit $100 a share. They want bad publicity around the company, so they can stop getting burned on their bad investments.

If you’re reaching for design references, look at the citroen ds. This durely doesn’t have its beauty, but it’s playing the same tricks as a car made designed in the 1950's (cam tail excluded) . Air hasn’t changed in 60 odd years, except regarding CO2

Totally agree. That particular green color was revolutionary when it came out, literally no other mass produced car had been sold with a retina-bursting green metallic finish before the Insight. And it was very well applied, I guess because it went down the assembly line literally next to the one that was screwing

I actually bought my E61 535xi MT off of a guy who was selling it because he got a first gen Insight (a manual) to DD for his commute.

the vast majority of cars already on the road are not exciting. you think the camry or oddessy or rav4 are exciting vehicles?

For reference, my M3 wants a reduced red line until it is fully warmed up, too. No doubt I could romp on it from cold, but it isn’t immediately fun and games the second it starts, either.

Please remind me of all the other 4 door sedans that seat 7 and their luggage and get groceries, that are being compared to world class sports cars with 70 years of racing heritage? Ridiculous comparison and the fact it’s even considered plausible is a testament to electric, and in this case Tesla for creating and

Fair point but it’s not like it’s “slow” by any means when not in ludicrous+ mode. It’s still quicker than almost everything on the road.

It has always frankly baffled me that the business owners of the United States are not more interested in socializing health care costs. Shit, if you could socialize the cost of building plants and roads and so forth, wouldn’t you do it?

Because “it just works” is an absolute fact when it comes to the Honda Fit. It’s roughly today’s equivalent of an early 90's EG Civic although definitely less fun, especially with a slushbox.

Um, the Versa is in its own class of awful. That’s been established for years.

That’s hilarious and honestly 90% of the reason I want one.

I know it’d be 140 characters at a time

The only thing that infuriates me more about his idiocy is that his supporters will rationalize it and evangelize for him still.

He is literally what would happen if a 70-something year old, low educated, Fox-news viewer became president by accident (with Russian help).

You know if I didn’t know any better... I’d be inclined to think Trump just might be a moron.

That’s not how tax credits work. Its not other people’s money, it’s your own money that you get to keep. If your tax burden is less than the credit, you don’t get other people’s money, the credit goes unclaimed.
