OOOhhh, the 9-3 Viggen! Dad has one of these in the driveway right now (a 3-door hatch) and a convertible clone (not a real Viggen, but, looks and goes like one)! Lightly tuned to somewhere around 250hp or so at the wheels. Probably on par with the most torque-steery car I’ve ever driven, but, it’s hilariously…

Took delivery of this last Thursday - so - managed to find an excuse to get out and about with it yesterday!

I know I’m supposed to laugh at this, but, as a former RX-8 owner...it hits me right in the feels...

...But moving the heavy meat-sack around would screw with the perfect weight balance....so rather than bring the body to the controls, you bring the controls to the body!

It was probably the best car show I’ve ever been to....and it’s free! The downside is that it only lasts for a few hours so you have to get there bright and early. The other downside for me is that it’s like 5 hours away, so, in order to get there we had to leave at “you’ve got to be kidding” o’clock. Can’t wait to…

I’ve only been once, but, Caffeine and Carburetors in CT had a pretty impressive and diverse collection of cars...spent so much time gawking that I forgot to take many pictures.... But, when you walk by a Ford GT because you’ve already seen 5 others...you know it’s a good day....

The one on the right is definitely faster in the $0-$35,000,000 race.

And some of us, at 14, worked the summer with our fathers at an auto repair and salvage shop - where very broken but running cars were bountiful...thanks Dad!!
