Thanks for the review. I think about the competitive set a little differently. What would a late-30s/early-40s adult car enthusiast buy as his last ICE car? It’s a short list of refined, powerful, fun, manual-transmission cars. What else is there that has decent NVH, is fun to drive and has room for your kids?

Best wishes to all of them. I’ve been through a few of them and they are the real deal.

My parents were in Punta Gorda in 2004 when Charlie hit. I drove down and helped them clean up their yard from the downed trees. There’s no real way to describe the damage. Charlie was a wind event and it was insanely destructive. Ian is adding a ton of water and going a lot slower and will be a lot more devestating.

It looks so much better with a bit of length. The standard wheelbase version looks short and fat. Now the longer proportion looks like a proper lifted estate that it was meant to be.

There are a loooooot of people in this comment section that don’t get their hands dirty to earn their income.....

Shark. Back in the late 70s that was the story. Shark flesh and cookie cutters.

I too, am food suggestible. It’s hell.

Now I want scalloped potatoes, also with scallops.

Check the packaging, they’re almost guaranteed to be treated with compounds that lead to less than stellar flavor and retaining lots of extra moisture. That’s how you get less expensive scallops, sell water.

I’ve never had diver scallops. Our Publix sells “Sea Scallops” frozen and they are about the size of a dollar coin. They aren’t cheap, but they aren’t super expensive. When they go on sale I buy a bag. You have to thaw them thoroughly and then get them dry dry dry dry dry befor you try to sear them, but they are good!

Surimi is great. It gets a bad rap in the states because it’s sold as ‘imitation crab’, and anything that sells itself as an imitation is going to immediately be suspect. But’s it a great product to use, and it’s super versatile. Sure you can make krab cakes with it, but it’s also awesome in sushi, salads, in a stir

Plus, I would think that if any convertible would be nice, it would be an EV convertible. There’s no engine noise so you’d think it would be a really fun ride in terms of being exposed to your surroundings (assuming you don’t have a fetish for loud engines).

Yeah, not sure how they can blame EV’s for it when convertibles have been declining every year. EV’s provide enough flexibility in packaging that convertibles would be easier. The batteries in the floor add structure.

I believe they are called Truck Nuts

This.  They’re public enemy #1.  Fuck all coal rollers.

Lol some dudes are running 9's and 10's with these on street tires WITH the wheels, my guy. Also, I will absolutely die on this hill, but the online car guy hatred for these is ridiculous. If you don’t like the look, whatever, it’s subjective and I get that, but sooooooo many people just dismiss donk/bigwheel cars as

I would never Donk my own car but whenever I see one on the road I giggle. Just saying the word ‘Donk’ is funny.

Counterpoint: do these actually hurt anyone? I see rolling coal below and obviously sideshows above, but I don’t really see any issue with people making their cars the way they like them. This is ONLY pertaining to the modifications, not what an owner does after the car is modified (drag race, donuts in an

Rolling coal. Yes we get it, you hate the environment, Prius’, and bicyclists. There’s probably a bumper sticker for that.

I feel like MOST rentals just go from airports to downtown hotels and back. Not all of course, but for those well within range of a single charge, this should be good. Also for Hertz, better resale, lower cost of operating.
