@jdickson87: I've been living without power, internet, or any source of outside communication for a week now, and I have no idea what's going on but I do have to agree... the writing is on the wall.

Something about that car seems so proud, and at the same time, so sad. Amazing that it hasn't been tubbed / modded with hood scoops and roll cage / doesn't have busted air shocks.

I do want one of these bad boys. Even though something about it is just soooooooo wrong.

@Ash78: AAAAaaaahahahahahahaha!

There's three things wrong here. A) He should have painted it white. B) He should have attached laser rifles to the handlebars. C) He should have dressed up as a storm trooper to show it off.

Okay, sure. The car is for all intents and purposes, totaled right now. But if the Eddie Griffith Ferrari can be resurrected, surely this car can be returned to some semblance of normalcy. A PCH, perhaps? Sure it would take a lot of time and effort, and you'd be embarrassed if your neighbors or friends ever saw the

@damnelantra™: My guess is John Tesh performing on TBN. Don't ask me why I'd guess that though.

You know, I keep seeing these ads on TV for these places where you can send in your old gold and they pay you cash.

@dmdukejr: Years ago I heard stories about Buicks were really popular in Cuba because the parts from some Russian car were interchangeable, as if by accident. I'd imagine the free market still works in this situation, except it works outside the control of US embargoes.

@newt0: Wonder how long it will take that thing to show up at LeMons?

The pictures remind me of the movie Tucker: The Man and his Dream, where he holds the business lunch and serves bloody rare roast beef and shows pictures of car crashes.

Why do I get the feeling the closest to the moon this thing will ever actually get is when a bunch of laid off engineers decide to show their support for the Obama administration by pressing their butt cheeks against the window as they are escorted out of the building by security.

@beercheck: Hey, thanks man. I'll definitely try to remember that.

Everyone knew that the current economic conditions would make Aston values fall. Nobody knew Joe and Frank would take that analogy so seriously.

@lilwillie: That is an awesome collection. I love that little Metro! And the Camaro, and the Cobra, and the Apache, and of course, the Edsel. And that Bimmer is a sweet ride too. You've got a lot of cars to be proud of. And that rear-end transplant, man I can't even imagine that. So much to get lined up... you guys

@cgraham: A for effort, man!

I had an uncle who, back in the late '40s / early '50s, was quite the hell raiser. My dad has a collection of photographs of cars he got drunk and totaled. Quite an impressive collection. I must digitize it someday.
