Is this car actually new? I can't see that much new about it. It looks like the same car to me.

Needs more grille.

If this is where my tax-fueled bailout bridge-loan dollars are going, I have to say, I approve.

@WilliamG.: @Jim-Bob: Ah, ok. I remember there was a Hurst 442 around town when I was in high school. I always made fun of it because it wasn't a "real" muscle car. And now I want one. Weird how stuff like that works.

Rough idling? I didn't notice anything wrong with the idling.

One of my neighbors has a '71 or '72 C10 CST, all original, black with wood grain siding, short wheelbase. I want that truck so bad.

@philibuster: Ironic. The best part of that clip was the K-car crashing action. Yeeeeehaw!

@six: I got to ride in the back seat of a 6 once while a buddy of mine was test driving. It was nice. My buddy wanted to buy right on the spot, then he found out the peppy little car he was driving only had a 4 cylinder, and he didn't want it anymore.

I look at this car and think, "THIS is what the new Buicks should look like."

If that dream job every comes through, I think a nice L99 equipped convertible will be a nice way to celebrate. Yeah, baby! I'm going to start growing my mullet now!

My dad just had an '02 S-10 four-by-four in for work at his shop the other day an I got to drive it. My impression was, it's big and slow and it has too much space inside to feel like such a cramped interior. I understand that the Colorado / Canyon are bigger, but I somehow doubt that it is really that much of an

Well, now we know what Bob Nardelli did with his share of the bailout money.

@WilliamG.: Of course, I hope it goes without saying, I'd much rather have a '69 Olds Hurst 442 over the '80s variants, but as an anniversary edition, yanno... screw it, must be the medication talking.

I'd rather have an '86 or '87 Olds Hurst 442 personally, but this thing ain't bad. It ain't bad at all.

@Elhigh: They slapped a badge on a Mitsu and sold that.

@J-2-da-B: They still havent got their share of the bail-out money!

@fodder650: I thought China rejected Ssangyong's bid for assistance.

@pauljones: Wonder if this is like the deal I saw on some redneck show on SPEED over the holidays where they took a standard C6 targa-top coupe, installed dual turbochargers, and were able to match the output of the LS9 for a fraction of the price.

So... when's an LS9-powered G8 going to be released? They could call it the Pontiac GR-8 and have Tony the Tiger as a spokesperson.
