Hoover threatened to send Remus to Leavenworth. The implication of that threat was clearly, at such a place, Remus would be subject to violence. Would that violence be of a sexual nature in the 20s? I don't know, I didn't research it, but I know Clyde Barrow was raped in prison as a teenager. My point is that I didn't

Amused Rothstein is probably the best Rothstein. Maybe second to fussily angry Rothstein, but still incredibly entertaining.

"… I, uh, gotta go"

*internal dialog* "Remus will play your game, Government man, but you'll never bow Remus. Remus knows who Remus is."

Yeah there is a fairly obvious disparity, but that's what this show is. It doesn't pretend to be a moral study or art, it's just bad ass shit remarkably filmed.

They could pretty much do away with Gillian and her troubles at this point. I don't really know, or care, what she's got going on with Capt. Nixon, but it sure is contrived and boring.

Boardwalk did affirm it's status as Boardwalk Empire in showing both Daughter and Willie's girl in the raw this week. This show is resolute in its dedication to tits.

"Do not threaten Remus with an assfucking. Prison rape upsets Remus."

In my notes on tonight's program (yes, fellow nerds, I keep notes) I wrote "more sexual violence… too much"

… pretty much the same as I remember it.

I never actually thought that, but, yes

*shudders* that's a tragedy.

… Nucky can be directly held accountable for both of them.

… is it that obvious?

"I… tch…miss Wisconsin"

"Oh, another form of payment, eh?…. GET AWAY FROM ME, RED DEVIL!"

Next week Harrow returns to the City of Atlantic, which will probably be pretty awesome.

"…jesus. Hide your weed better than you hide this bullshit, okay?"

I felt like, as they sat there after Nucky fixed his little murder situation, that Nucky was buying a son in Willie. You know… replacing that other kid who… didn't turn out so well

Send them to Remus, they shall comfort Remus in prison.
