Prius sales figures have been declining for a decade. Maybe the cooler all-new one will change that but it remains to be seen.

There are a lot of factors at play. I have an EV and an ICE gas-guzzling SUV so I see both sides of the coin.

Its almost like there are external factors to it, right?  Very few are getting rid of a working and potentially paid off car to jump to an EV, and even fewer are interested at the current interest rates.

Ten years ago, virtually zero per cent of vehicle buyers were thinking about getting an EV. There was a survey of 20,000 vehicle owners by EY a few months ago that showed nearly 50% of those in the US were planning to get an EV within 24 months.

R1S’ are popping up all over Salt Lake City at an insane rate.

And I’ve been seeing R1Ts all over the place in my area, along with the occasional R1S, and one or two of the Rivian Amazon vans.

And nor does Rivian need to. They have a huge wait list for the R1S SUV. Something Lucid could only dream of.

Since you didn’t say anything about maintenance costs...

I think I can pick 3 to cover my needs.

I love the Porsche 911, Land Rover Defender, Jeep Wrangler, FIAT 500 - all good retro designs, but one of the coolest cars right now is the upcoming retro-modern Renault 5 which is going to be reincarnated as a cool little EV hatchback, a welcome breath of fresh air from the malaise of compact SUVs all over Europe. I

Cost’s them nothing. You pay for shipping, the car is already gone through regulations through the sedan and the All-Terrain.

They could easily do what Volvo does and just let us order one. It costs them nothing to do that.

Once again, all I ask Mercedes is to allow American customers to factory order a regular, non All-Terrain model, just like Volvo did with the regular V90 wagon. We’re not asking you to stock hundreds at every dealer, just let us order and wait 6 months. The E-Class Wagon is said to be bought by Mercedes’ most wealthy

I am not seeing 2-3 year old cars available for 30-50% off MSRP. I would be in the market for a minivan right now—that would make the most sense for my family. A two year old Sienna right now is basically still going for MSRP.  A new Sienna, as of a few months ago, goes for MSRP , but requires a payment to hold the

There’s a store in Corte Madera - so you either bought your Taycan a year ago or you never tried to look for a store.

Woefully awful editing of recycled content. The headline is an editing MESS— “Large Vehicle Encampment Runs Through Its Wealthiest Zip Codes” — um, did you mean to say “California’s Largest Vehicle Encampment Runs Through...” or “...Runs Through One Of California’s Wealthiest Zip Codes...”?

Calm down. Also you are looking at top trim Inscriptions.

My money would be on a gently used Volvo XC90. Sure, it’s been around since 2015, but it still looks stylish in an understated Scandinavian way, is plenty big enough for the kids and dogs, isn’t horrific on gas mileage, has a really nice interior (a huge upgrade coming from a Subaru) and you’ll have 40k and 4 years

Agreed (Obviously ^^). Although the base spec Macan is a little too trim impoverished to feel at all special, even that has spectacular dynamics for anything (regardless of class of vehicle) big enough for family life. The S is superb. If only they’d get rid of the taptic panels either side of the gearshift. Ugh.

I still have my sights on a “real” porsche, but the cayenne I’ve got is really satisfying to drive. Plus it fits the kids and can make a Costco run.
