BUT flick those rims.
BUT flick those rims.
I missed the call for submission—think I had a shot at making the list.
You should look at the new car sales stats for Scandinavian countries.
“No one in this story seems particularly likable and I love it.” I see no issue with the person that should have won the truck. The article does not seem to make that person seem unlikeable. Or, did I miss something.
Jaguar XJ. It was killed off to make way for an EV version that was cancelled at the 11th hour. The XJ should be the car that defines the Jaguar brand and right now it is not in the range.
I like it!
Collin Woodard, you’re the wind beneath my wings with your suggestion. It’s not yet released in the U.S., but the Grenadier is already and obviously the coolest car since the original Defender.
Could have gotten more creative with the headline.
This is a fantastic step forward for normalizing EVs (Yes I know it’s a $300k car). Most people don’t want silly, blobby ugly EVs that stand out solely as an EV. They just want an electric version of a familiar, existing car. Most people would probably assume this is a Wraith. The F150 Lightning was probably the first…
This is actually how I wish more EVs would look like - normal cars.

Damn. I had a french vanilla this morning so I’m feeling rich and fancy. NP.
“has no dash lights” translation: A fuse (wire, something else) has failed and none of the interior lights are working. Still, these things are easy to work on, right? NP
Sound as a pound? Why yes, if you’re talking about the pound as of today’s date.
“The 20-inch alloys have been painted black (the spare is still factory silver) and perhaps are the worse for it.” Perhaps, nothing. Black wheels must die and this vehicle is a perfect example of why.
VW, instead of taking until 2026 to reinvent International/Scout, just buy Rivian and slap a name change on there. VW is massive company, yet somehow is one of the few automotive companies that doesn’t have an “outdoorsy” product line that has been all the rage for the past 10+ years.
they seemed poised, quality-wise, to do well. Land Rover would be a solid fit. LR seems to be getting better at quality.
Or Amazon because they have the cash.
Mercury. Villager. Nautica.
