Yea, it’s VERY poorly executed. Businesses should be able to do whatever they want.

This is an incredibly ugly car.

The fact that America gets the fugly guppy fish above, and the rest of the world gets this is laughable.

We are already there. I picked my Taycan last week, my first ever EV, and charging this weekend was a nightmare at one Electrify America station in the Bay Area. There were 5 of us all with brand new EV cars with paper plates. 2 of the stations were on the fritz, but not communicating on-screen. People kept having to

It’s the same around in the Seattle area. Most of the time the fast chargers I see at my local stores are not being used.

Ford has been working closely with Electrify America, and has a team that goes out to check stations regularly and make sure they are functioning. With the F-150 Lightning rolling out to customers now, Ford really wants to make sure they have a good experience.

I mean, Ford wanted a Wrangler competitor. Significant recalls really give you that FCA experience.

“I quickly moved on to Nissan and Mazda dealerships” - I mean... Ok.

When I was growing up in Germany, “dealers” were showrooms. You went and looked and sat and test drove. And then you’d take an order form and ordered the vehicle as you wanted. You then financed it and/or paid a deposit and got the car some months later. The price was the price.

But AWD/4WD is better, just saying. Coming from interior Alaska ;)

It’s not like the Original Defender is that great of a car anyway. Everytime I ride in one I get the same overwhelming impression - what a charming piece of crap.

The Tesla Model 3. They are literally everywhere here in California and since they only come in like 5 colors so they seem even more ubiquitous. To top it all off, most are driven by the most obnoxious, disrespectful drivers who choose to either drive 20 below the speed limit or race around grocery store parking lots.

I’m in CA and so I’m already sick of seeing Teslas

The Tesla Model 3. I live in Marin (the peasant portion). But, I work closer to the high-earner neighborhoods. The Prius has been replaced with a faster, much more dangerous rebellious younger sibling and it has caused those same, former Prius drivers, to become even bigger douche-canoes on the roads. I can’t stand

Give it a break…

It looks even better in person than in pictures. The red paint has a glimmer that the press photos can’t quite capture.

Looks great. Anyone have any theories as to why it has a BMW-sourced engine?

Hwy 88 east from The Lodi area to Hwy 89 just past Kirkwood, through South Lake Tahoe to Truckee is incredible. You can take 89 all the way to Highway 70 then go west to Oroville and Hwy 99 to Sacramento. Great Ride.

Northern California is tough to beat. I lived in LA for 10 years and don’t get me wrong, the car culture there is the best in the world, but for driving roads - and sheer variety of driving roads, NorCal has the edge - it’s much less congested (we really only have the SFBA and SAC as our big metro areas), extremely

If you are a bike rider, hard to beat Southern California. All year riding weather and world class twisties, especially Eats and North County San Diego. It could be busy on the weekends but go up on Palomar mountain on a weekday morning and the whole road is yours (well, you might run into a Motorcycle magazine
