That would be great and an extremely compelling purchase. A $90k baby Aston SUV with proper Mercedes underpinnings is a home run.

If only a well-rounded company like Ford would buy them.

So so interiors; poor quality switchgear and questionable reliability has never bothered Ferrari buyers much. Having said that I guess no one is buying DBX to leave it in  the garage on a trickle charger 28 out of 31 days a month either.

Aston does use quite a lot of Mercedes tech and stuff, think they’ve invested a larger stake in them so that might very well soon be the case.

Agree. The front is a little Porsche (not a bad thing necessarily) but that rear light hump is not attractive.

Aston Martin needs a new uncle. The VW to its Porsche or BMW to Rolls-Royce. While some AM models are without question undoubtedly beautiful, I still can’t quite fathom spending the money on their products with so-so interiors, poor quality switch gear, and questionable reliability. A German engineered Aston Martin

1st:  I remain unconvinced by Aston Martin SUVs.  The AM dealer’s just down the street from my Jaguar dealer, so I’ve at least seen one parked outside for display.  Honestly, aside from the badge it doesn’t really look that special to me.  AM cars are basically sex symbols.  An AM SUV is just an SUV from what I’ve

It seems that much like any business focused soley on the immediate profit, they’re forgetting how they used to build a customer base.

how else will you know that you’re going offroad if you don’t tell everyone with your orange trim.

How else will suburban owners be able to one up their neighbor’s regular Explorer without some kind of bright trim?

Did the decimal point get moved? $849.50 maybe, but at $8,495 - ND

And now you’ve got a JPG to admire thanks to me.

ND Once again we are presented with a car that’s rare, well kept and has low mileage; but nobody gives a flying flick for it. These were forgettable in the 90s, why would it be collectible now?

First of all, Jalopnik is like 3 days late to this. Ive seen this posted everywhere.

Stop trying to make SAV happen! It’s not going to happen BMW!

Oh my god, an extra 25 minutes outside of your car every three hours, what a horrible imposition.

The XE, much like the XF of the same generation, didn’t sell because they weren’t that fun to drive, were terrible inside (honestly a same age Ford Fusion had better interior materials), and had a generically bland exterior. You can forgive a car for one of these things but not all three. They honestly look like they

I owned a ‘17 Jag. Just seeing that InControl screen is triggering. Run. Run away. No price is a nice price for these.

There’s so many of us! I’m another Brit living in CA (moved to Napa during Covid but spent last 10 years in LA). I have plans to head home on a car shopping trip in a year or two to bring over 97 or 98 Defender for vineyard duty (driving to tastings ha) once the 25 year rule hits. There are still some great deals on
