Those people with expiring leases, such as my wife, don’t get to dictate the timing of when we get a new vehicle. Yes, we can extend the lease, but that also means (at least in our case) the possibility of having to purchase tires and brakes before turning in the lease.
I pick up a new car tomorrow. Some areas don’t have the massive outbreaks because we don’t live on top of each other like some cities. When it only affects .001% of a population for a given area, maybe it’s worth going out and getting 25% off and 0% financing on a new Audi.
Slightly unrelated. Look at all those lovely pristine brand new B6 generation A4s. How many of those are now dead or adorned with tacky aftermarket parts from AutoZone? There’s even a naughty allroad in the left corner just waiting 10 years to create all kinds of pain for its 6th owner.
Audi says it will make as many as there are orders for. These will all allegedly be built-to-order, and none will be stocked at dealerships.
... if you can buy one. My (tech bro) friend is trying and supposedly they are at “waiting list” status.
Or are they devoted because there has been nothing to compete with the Wrangler? I think a lot of people will want something to differentiate themselves from all the billions of wranglers floating around these days.
You gotta punch up the social-economic ladder a few rungs. I’d call these:
I held out till about 2016. Then gave up on my daily. My old Jeep is still a stick shift and I love driving it, but sitting in traffic on the daily I’d rather be lazy.
“Designed for people who need SUV practicality but really miss driving sport sedans,”
Seriously? This looks good?
And yet you seemed to fit very comfortably in a 2-D pane of glass with a couple other people, Zod. Get over it.
“in a market that can’t get enough of big and stupid SUVs."
They should be arrested for filming in portrait mode....
Bad fake. It’s all over the place, starting with credit checks then vaguely making a segue into a car critique without referencing any specific policy or making plans to discuss.
“Maserati is like the Nissan of exotic car brands.”
It’s a joke of a brand for sure, but I’m not sure there’s a whole lot shared with Chryslers except buttons, switches, maybe some trim, definitely some electronics. Mechanically they are pretty distinct, and that V6 is very far away from a Pentastar by the time it gets installed in a Maserati.
I’ll bet you can buy a low milage used Ghibli for $25k.
