Silly them using the most popular type of vehicle as their flagship EV. Anyone would think they were looking for people to buy them.

Get 2! Unlocks achievement; His and Hers.
By all means, change the business model. The direct effect of that will be the immediate end of both companies. As always, the virus of unionism sucks the blood out of the host until it collapses. The virus kills the host.
Agree, these are going to be all over town.
But if you’re earning that you’re probably not buying, you’re leasing, so it’s really a question of the monthly difference in price. Here in LA, which is likely going to be one of the Taycan’s biggest markets, most wealthy people lease and flip cars early.
This is a competitor because you not only get the electric powertrain, but you also get a decent car to go with it. The minimalism in a Tesla is nice, but gets a bit old and rough once the car has tens of thousands of miles under its belt.
People will.
I am guessing you don’t live in socal. If you are a lawyer or real estate guy based out of Corona Del Mar, are you really going to roll up to a client meeting and valet a Kia? $1K on lease is cheap when you compare to the Bentayga or Urus.
Based on the above, it appears Mercedes may be attempting to do the world a favor and kill all those who pick the illuminated star.
We must’ve been reading the same stuff. I worked on the MBUSA business for years, and that car’s demographics were bananas. We’re talking the 0.001% at best, never mind the 1%.
Exactly! Don’t quote me, but I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that the E-Class Wagon is the model most likely to be purchased by MB’s most wealthy customers or most likely to be purchased outright not leased/financed.
We don’t spend our money on infrastructure anymore, so you almost need an SUV to get around any major city.

No way. The heated seats and power mirrors will ruin the 0-60 time. It'll be lucky to out run an 87 Tercel in a straight line.
Plus there are coupe and convertible versions of a lot of the entry level luxury cars from the major brands. Lexus RC, BMW 2 series, MB C class, I think the A5 can be had in that price range. But really, there are very few dedicated sports cars below the 50k mark. I really wouldn’t mind more platform sharing if it…
Then you should know where they vanished to lol
