Same with the CX5 vs Q3. Q5 is slightly nicer.

Sorry, with the exception of the Audi A8 and the Porsche Taycan, I must have missed the article with the list of luxury cars? I only see a bunch of dated, premium entry level sedans.
$83,400 and they forgot to paint it!
Pretty much any premium brand sedan. In a world where everyone wants a Q5, GLC or X3, Audi, Mercedes and BMW are practically giving away A4s, C-Classes and 3-Series - lease specials, rebates, MSRP discounts, you name it.
They did. I got it applied to my lease down payment on my 2022.
It is normal. I think all the fanfare around this is because the Taycan was such a hot new car (hard to get allocation, 12 month wait lists etc.) that it seems surprising to see the residuals tank, but like all new cars it’s still a depreciating asset at the end of the day.
And this is exactly why I leased my Taycan instead of buying.
The only styling change I can see are the “flattened” Macan EV style headlights and squared off bumper (neither looks very Porsche tbh), but glad to see the side profile and rear remains almost completely untouched. I think I prefer my 2022.
Is this from 2019? Also, wait until you hear about the SUVs they’re going to make.
While the increased range and charging speed is impressive, the EPA has always underrated the Taycan’s range. I’ve got 280 miles out of my 2022 Taycan before (with Performance Plus Battery) so a roughly 20-25% range increase is great, but not as groundbreaking as one would be made to believe.
I’ve used Waymo a lot (both in San Francisco and Phoenix) and to be honest, I’ve had great experiences. I feel a lot safer with a computer driving me in a brand new electric Jaguar than some of the Uber drivers I’ve encountered with questionable driving skills and poorly-maintained cars.
100% agree. The S-Class has just an incredible presence.
Who would have thought making a Mercedes that looks nothing like a Mercedes and charging Mercedes prices wouldn’t go well. We have to move away from EVs being designed like weird EVs.
Yup, EQS is so dull and blobby. BMW should have just made the iX an electric X5 and everyone would be happy.
The irresponsible parent wanting to use Waymo as a babysitter aside, it’s a much better experience than Uber or Lyft. New electric Jaguars, clean, comfortable, it has a custom music interface, and there are no weird smells or inconsistent driving. I just spent 4 days in Scottsdale, AZ, and I took about 10 of the Waymo…
All this for a C300.
