Yahoo is nice but I want cross platform mobile Google Video chat.

@golferal: What phone is that? The iPhone? You do know that they've had Yahoo Video Chat for about a week now, right?

@theCollector: better display quality. better cpu. MUCH better GPU. better camera.

@ttk2: Yes, because staring at a mostly dull black screen is fun.

@trylleklovn: Yeah, thought the same. I know that's it's probably a demo running on a emulator (which are mysteriously slow even on beastly CPU's.) but this is a promo, it's purpose is to wow us.

@danulp02: I don't know for 100% but my guess is that it's due to the superior GPU in the Droid X. The Adreno 200 in the EVO probably couldn't push more than 30FPS over HDMI, so they capped it due to that. So while the EVO should score about the same as the Nexus One, it still doesn't compare to the PowerVR in the

@ZenInsight: I disagree, kind of. Part of having a really complete (and geek) Android experience is to have the best possible kernal/ROM. The Epic will have no where near the same support as a HTC device. It's just the way the community is. So while the CPU/GPU/Display/4G/FFC of the Epic is nice, it kind of fails to

@RuckingFetard: This is just a graphic FPS test. The mytouch runs at almost half the resolution of WVGA and the EVO is FPS locked @ 30 FPS due to HDMI.

@Masai Andrews: The EVO has a 30 FPS lock due to HDMI. It can be unlocked if you root. Otherwise it scores the same as the Nexus One.

@NaeemTHM: No, I don't so. At least I haven't noticed a difference. But yeah, that FPS lock makes the GPU look super gimped. I mean, it's not great either way but it at least matches the Nexus One without the FPS lock.

@westau: The mytouch slide runs @ HVGA (320x480). The G2 is WVGA (480x800). That's like comparing the FPS of a game running at two resolutions with the one of them being almost half of the other.

@Knirfie: It's right there. The Captivate is AT&T's Galaxy S. It performed a little under than usual in this test but others have put the Adreno 205 and Hummingbird to be pretty equal.

@ZenInsight: This. Video chat is very young and thus almost useless but that's only because not enough phones have front facing cameras to get adoption. HSPA+ should have made a front facing cam a sure thing.

@Kobe_No_Means_No: The GPU is significantly faster than the 1ghz snap dragon. It's also smaller (45nm) so better battery life.

@Odin: Actually it has the updated Adreno 205 GPU which matches the Hummingbird.

@iamnotafish: Second hand sources said that Android 3.0/Gingerbread is going to be a major overhaul of Android's UX/UI. They HOPE that this will DISCOURAGE manufacturers from creating custom skins.

@jmckee: That's shitty. I'm in Brooklyn, NY and get 5-6Mbps with bursts of about 8-9 Mbps on my EVO 4G. It's not even a official city yet either.

@iScuba: You know what? I got to disagree with you. The white actually looks better to me.
