Yeah, the Z4 is just too damned ugly for it’s own good. The Z3 outsold the Z4 3:1. Its pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Hamann made one. Good luck finding one now.
Till the blows the engine block. Oh wait, we don’t talk about that. ;)
Lexus has their own issues. Generally speaking the big one seems to be ECU failure that kills the car completely so it goes to a junkyard instead of some guy who fixes it and drives it. Never buy a super cheap BMW. Whatever you save on the purchase you will spend on bringing it up to proper maintenance.
I picked up a 94 with 40k miles and it took me 4 months to get all the leaks taken care of on that car. Its a beautiful car, but it has to be the tightest engine bay I have ever seen.
After owning both E36s and 1st/2nd Gen Miatas the BMW is by far easier to maintain. The standard maintenance is about the same. Both have water pumps rated at 50-60k miles but the belt tensioners, intake manifold, timing belts, and old school timing light timing setup are worlds harder on a Miata. The parts are…
I gotta call bullshit on this one. All you need is a really long extension and all the bell housing bolts are super easy to get to. Once that’s done you just remove, replace, and torque to spec. Its easier than doing it on a Ford Pickup truck or a Mazda Miata. I have done all three, the BMW is by far the simplest…
The real story here is that you should never buy a BMW that hasn’t been properly maintained. You know, log books, regular service, etc. Those terrible cooling systems that seem to go boom do so because they are only designed to last 50k miles. Its a regular service when you also change your belts and hoses. Most…
You clearly don’t understand how our government is structured. States are sovereign, and any powers not explicitly assigned to the federal government are reserved to the individual states. What you are suggesting is re-writing the constitution, eliminating individual states, and replacing congress.
Everyone assumes the power for electric cars just comes out of the ether. The reality is that we won’t be consuming less energy, but MORE energy. The grid is extremely outdated and probably can’t handle moving the majority of power delivery from gas stations to the grid. Solar, while a great thing, is still pretty…
I don’t think these people understand how endowments work. The rich jerks that give the money to the schools attach all kinds of strings and requirements about how they are allowed to use the money. They also put in trap doors that pull the money if they make an attempt to use it against the original intentions. …
Hey look, I found another bullshit gawker article in the sports section. I think the people at gawker are intentionally ruining the blogs because they are assholes.
What in the actual fuck is going on here? This is not Deadspin. Deadspin in a sports blog. Where the fuck are the sports? I come looking for stories about football and this is the shit that is on Deadspin?
Why do they even have balance shafts? Inline 6s, 60 degree V12s, and 90 degree V8s are the only engines you should ever buy.
Did you seriously reply to a thread from 3+ years ago? You must be bored, or sitting out the hurricane, or both.
The FJ was ugly, that’s why it did poorly. Plain and simple.
I have several routers. I love me some routed edges. My point was that if you are going with laminate anyway, your budget is probably restricted.
Yeah, but if you aren’t paying for the solid surface you probably aren’t paying for the under-mount and install.
If Trump did not break any laws with his taxes, this is a non-story that only the left wing liberals think matter.
No way. No V8 manual no care.
