Celebration was modeled after Seaside Florida. (The Truman Show)

Well, let me tell you from experience that running ADDITIONAL wires in the NSX really is a lot harder than you ever imagined.

I watched the videos, followed along, still creeps in reverse gear with clutch fully depressed. So next step is to install a new master cylinder.

Wait, what do you got with the mercedes and ford ranger clutch slave? You putting the ford part in the Benz or the Benz part in the Ford? I have been trying to get my ranger to shift smooth ever since I installed a new clutch. Never could get the damned thing to bleed right. Got a new clutch master sitting in the

Where did you run the wires to put the amps in the trunk? What route did you take? There was barely enough room to route the rear camera wires through existing grommets, I don’t know about running speaker wires. Where did you route the amp power cable to the trunk? Count yourself lucky on the head unit, I was stuck

You make a good point.

Or, you know, you could just do it yourself in 10 minutes for $50. (The oil is still expensive.)

Maybe, but if you ever needed help actually fixing an NSX you would be in good hands.

Every TV themed car paint job/rebuild looks good on camera but looks terrible in person. The NSX is a terrible platform for a car sound system in that there is no where to put additional electronics. There is no good place for a subwoofer other than the passenger footwell, and then the issue of finding a place to

They took a junker 91 NSX and put a poor paint job on it and then put a bunch cheap speakers in it.

My experience is that this is about a 12k car, however its a really cool car to have.

My mother drove a bug-eyed sprite in college. Then after all the station wagons she bought a Miata in 1992. My cars were hand me down Miata’s for decades. She still drives a Miata, and I still love cars. If I could only meet that mythical girl who drives a stick.

Who cares what the mileage is? Just love it and drive it.

BMW was so busy making sure the original M Coupe didn’t cannibalize sales of the more profitable E46 M3 that they stopped all marketing for the refreshed coupe. Granted the S54 M Coupe was a better performer than the M3, but no one even knew the M Coupe had same engine. They only sold 678 M Coupes with the S54. Ultra

Would totally buy that.

This is why they should just charge more for the subway so they actually can break even and stop losing money.

I have done a Z3 top replacement before. Its not all that hard, took me about half a day with a little help. The rear window zips out and is easily replaced. Definitely easier than doing a Miata top which I have also done.

What do the pipes coming off the muffler do? Do they feed pressure somewhere? Do they pump sound into the cabin? I have never seen anything like that before.

IDK about reliability, but the Z4 does require things like new window regulators to be coded to the car where as the Z3 just lets you plug it right in and it will work. Most of the drive-train options are similar or the same as the Z3. Z3 is a much better option for DIY if you ask my opinion, but you can always learn

I understand where you are coming from, and while you make valid points my point is that the Z3, even the one with the 1.9l engine is going to be cheaper and easier to maintain DIY style than any Miata.
