Lol yeah that might be true in a pre-Tony Soprano world but here we are now.

“I’m thinking about becoming a life coach. Or a mime.”

So glad this show is back! Forgot how much I missed it. Agreed about the Anezka thing, it’s getting really tired I hope they shake up the telenovella/crime plot cause it’s a little stale. I always love the Jane/Xo/Alba scenes, it shows how families can offer support to each other so well, reminds me a lot of my family.

I will say that in that white dress Rebecca was certainly putting herself first in a sexy way.

“Let’s Generalize About Men” is great; first instant classic of the season. And lordy, Heather talks in monotone so much, when she actually uses her singing voice, it’s like a totally different person.

Jesus, I’m sorry to hear that. I was just curious because the LoT and Arrow reviews went up really late here, too. I thought CW might have changed their minds about screeners.

YOU HAVE SCREENERS FOR THE NEXT TWO!??!!

They didn’t. I was holding off on finishing this review in the event that the theme song was included in the live broadcast, then was held up because of a shooting outside my part-time gig. I’ve got screeners for the next two, though, so those should be up promptly.

Best lyric in “Let’s Generalize About Men” was Rebecca saying “And why do men never listen and only think about themselves as opposed to women who always listen and never think about themselves.”

One great thing about this episode is that Rebecca finally got her wish from all of last season: Paula is completely integrated into her girl group. In typical Crazy Ex-Girlfriend fashion Rebecca gets what she wanted, but she no longer even remembers that was what she wanted.

“What else can we say that we don’t usually say?”

Me too. He’s so great, and the character is so unique in the show, that every time he’s got a significant role it really boosts everything else. And I agree about the lack of sexuality, but if any network show is gonna push that particular envelope, it’s this one. Fingers crossed!

I’ve very happy David Hull got promoted to series regular for this season, it’ll hopefully get him interacting with more people than only Daryl, or maybe push the depiction of their relationship past only heartwarming awesome moments.

I’ve missed Heather stealing clothes from a scarecrow.

I”m so happy to have this show back.

A friend and I were texting during the show and she said the same thing about Donna Lynne deserving an Emmy. But Valencia won the hour for me with “an I alive? How did I die?”

I can see the dual/duel narrator setup being too much in the future but I loved it tonight. “Everyone is the hero of their own story” is a fantastic explanation of the setup.

Oh, I’ve missed Heather talking about how much she loves Dramaaaaaaaaaaaa

I think they did the same last year? Well, I guess I’ll have to go rewatch the whole thing to make sure.

First of all, hello New Rebecca. Would that I were at that casting call.
