So you have to install a malicious service that Amazon/Google are actively removing from their stores, and then be stupid enough to give it your passwords after a prompt. What even is the overlap of people who are advanced enough to install non-default services on their devices but clueless enough to fall for the old

No, her brand begins as an actor on a very popular TV show, and she has an Instagram account on the side. You’re railing against people whose primary occupation is getting attention via social media, which is not the case with Jamil.

I would think *everyone* would want to avoid patronizing those sites any more. Even if you have an Android phone (or are just using your computer), you’re probably going to want to avoid a site that will clearly install malware if they can find an unpatched exploit.

I thought it was “operate at a loss just long enough to develop self-driving cars, then we’ll be profitable when we don’t have to pay our employees contractors”

This whole idea seems needlessly expensive for a minor improvement. You can already get charging pads that charge multiple devices, is it really worth it to pay an extra $100 to be able to drop devices anywhere instead of on specific spots? Good luck getting people to pay a lot more for slightly more convenience

My problem is that I use some outside of the car (I regularly read books on Google Play Books, but do not listen to audio books), and I use Pocket Casts but can’t disable Google Podcasts. And there were a few others I can’t remember that I can’t hide but don’t want to completely uninstall.

The one problem I’ve had with the new Android Auto is that I hate having to scroll through a big menu to find the app you want to launch. The old navigation made it easier to find your audio apps. It wouldn’t be so bad if Auto gave you the option to remove apps you never use in the car from the menu. At least it does

Their roll out was stupid. At least when Facebook had a limited roll out they did it campus by campus so when you could finally sign up you would have a whole bunch of friends and acquaintances signing up too. With Google+ being pretty much random, you would get an invite and barely anyone you knew was on it so you

They don’t care about stopping them from obtaining guns, they only care about winning elections. And this is all about muddying the waters to win elections. If Republicans get blamed for all this violence, the voters will probably vote them out of office. But if Both Sides Are Bad, fence sitters might apathetically

The problem is that apparently going to bat for Hudson in this situation would involve lying to the NCAA. All Harbaugh did was tell the truth as far as he knew it, and the NCAA denied Hudson’s waiver because the whole system is arbitrary and stupid and dependent on who can lie the most shamelessly. It’s not like

Short answer: No

But what if you use the Costco Visa card? Do you still need that to pay or can you use the app?

Improved location detection. You can get a rough location much faster than GPS is you know the location of the WiFi router the phone is connected to.

This probably won’t be popular since it’s command line based, but if you aren’t afraid of a little bash or git then pass (www.passwordstore.org) is pretty easy to set up and free. All the passwords a GPG encrypted locally, and you can sync it to a Git repository to be able to access it remotely. And there are also iOS

That’s still $149 more than Google Docs or LibreOffice, and those have everything non-professionals need too.

but it is worse in EVERY other use case

Another big thing confirmed by this leak is the lack of a rear fingerprint reader that has been traditional on the Pixel series. There have been some rumors about the return of a bezel with facial recognition sensors, but nothing about a fingerprint reader in another location. As someone that loves how quickly and

Plus, if you use an actual shopping list app, it’ll probably do things for you like remember the order of items to ease your trip though the store and suggest common items so you don’t forget. Also, if you’re out and about when you remember something you need to get, you’ll have your phone on you while your list is at

I learned with MasterType on an Apple II in junior high, even though it was the mid 90s at that point. Although I should really say “learned”, because it wasn’t until college and AIM (and long papers) that I really learned how to type effectively.
