Master Sporks and I got free passes to a screening of The Rum Diary, and we were a bit baffled to see a woman with school-age kids in line in front of us. It wasn't that the movie was particularly violent or anything, but why the fuck would you think that's something a couple of 9 year-olds would be interested in

It's the new "edgy."

When I think "gritty," I absolutely think "Jason Sudeikis."

I certainly hope they cast actors that make more plausible siblings than George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino.

I'm a lady, it's okay to say Salma Hayek is hot.

Man, you were saving this up for just that golden opportunity, weren't you? Good job restraining yourself, hoss.

I don't like money either. But I like the things you can buy with money.

Good lord, that really was an incredibly creepy movie.

Perhaps, that is why so many cried foul on Twitter when the series’ central boogeyman was revealed to be simply some guy with a lawn mower and an ancestral estate that seemed to consist of nothing but negative space.

It's a bit of an easy, unfair target, don't you think?

I'm not at all trying to be a glib asshole, but the best thing she can do for her recovery is accept that she's not likely to make any sort of "comeback." HBO and American Horror Story corner the market in aggressively unsexy sex scenes.

For a few moments, I thought he was hallucinating the whole thing, and would wake up back in the altar room with Marty.

I agree that Jezebel sucks, but he's still a dickhole.

Gotta say, there's not one thing about this review that makes this sound even remotely appealing.

YouTube is a treasure trove of bad 80s TV intros (Manimal is a gem too), but this is the best.

I don't know what makes me happier, how gregarious and open Kurtwood Smith was in this, or discovering that @willharrisinva:disqus and I are almost the same age. I always assume I have at least a decade if not more on most of the writers here.

I'm a little dubious that that was the best they could come up with for Best Comedic Performance.

There are few shows that started out so strong and then crashed so spectacularly as this one. House is a case study in what happens when you insist on dragging out a TV program at least two seasons longer than it needs to be.
