I'm officially rooting and ROMing my Droid to get 2.2 if I don't get an official release in the next week or so.

@prochobo: I bought the Droid thinking one of it's biggest selling points over iPhone was a physical keyboard - and the virtual keyboard was so good I never used the physical keyboard after day 1.
