Sorry, the Kinect blows. MS will make their money back because people are sheep, but they didn't (and won't) change the face of gaming with this awkward mess of an experience.

That's a hell of a transformation.
That snark wasn't necessary - obviously this guy is a gamer and cares about things other than numerical hz values. I'm with him - I think the NGP is more of a leap forward - for gaming. CPU power is just a means to an end.
Agreed - I play through 2, 3 and CVX every year or two.
In Soviet Russia, 3DS buys *you*?
This is exactly right.
But... all the "Imagine" titles and Disney/THQ shovelware is perfectly fine. Hmmm....
I was gonna say no serious games, bad comparison, but either way :)
Nah, I got it.
Very well said - sometimes it is the only reason we get creative little gems - "Hannah Montana goes shopping 2" might make 100 times as much money as Okami, but as long as developers are prudent and not wasteful, they will continue doing what they love and reap a little cash as the go.
Well between you and I, that makes one of us.
Yup.
This was also said about the iPhone, iPod Touch, and the iPad. This exact statement. Nothing to see here, big shock that nice little computer plays games well.
it says [itunes] next to the link, was that not there before?
Make no mistake - for people who are browsing and don't know about the game, the front cover has a big impact.
There are plenty of humble western devs, and plently of arrogant Japanese devs. Why stereotype when it isn't necessary (or even accurate)?
As long as we don't lose Wipeout, this doesn't truly break my heart.
Really? I mean... really? Wow I'm out of touch with the general gaming public. This thing is 0% fun for me (I played with it for a couple of hours.)
GTA IV??? GTA III, yes, IV, no.
The whole point of this is that Epic is saying this is what runtime should look like next gen. This has nothing to do with rendering. Get it?
