@Zeidust: It's called IP control and is actually very important from the point of view of the creators.

""That's opposed to any other studio where there are regular meetings and milestones and stuff so you don't get too far down a path before people come in to make sweeping changes.""

@Beardbeardly: But you forget one thing - this is fiction, and ultimately, a work of art - and doing it the way they did, looks crappy and cheesy (IMO naturally. :) No offense intended if this happens to be your cup of tea.

@SuicidalEarthworm: I might have thought the same thing about the Xbox360, but look a tthe PS3 now with a nearly even share :)

@NeVeRMoRe666: Ouch - yes, I do see some pitfalls to avoid if you aren't playing it like a hermit as I am :) One of my coworkers was in the same boat, got off sync in story mode with his team and got no credit for a lot of stuff.

@1up: True, I get your point, but the sad thing is, with the install base of the iPhone/ipod touch, they might very well make half their revenue from a crappy iPhone title...Businessweek estimates the sale rate of iPod Touch at 40 million per year, and the iPhone is at almost 30 million units...

So... cheesy.. can't watch any longer...

Borderlands Borderlands Borderlands. I love this game. Actually, in a lot of ways, reminds me of my old WoW-playing days, items color-coded by rareness, the mission taking/turning in system, the expansive terrain to explore, the "instance"-style boss-themed areas...

"...buggy, incomplete and priced wrong..."

SWG was my first MMO - I can't wait to -play this game, as it looks about 100 times better.

Very cool exec there to be so honest about his screw up.

TOOBIN' FOREVER.

@Slanzinger: You said... "Friend codes, it seems, as unpopular as they are, are likely to be here to stay"

@shouryuuken: Agreed. Love uncharted, but I miss Jak and Daxter more than I want another Uncharted.

100% LOVE LOVE LOVE my Moto Droid.

@MR. FAP☆FAP! 。◕‿◕。: Part of what makes products such at the Cintiq tablet so wonderful is the carefully manufactured paper-feel of the surface of the semi-matte screen, so it really functions as a digital "sketchbook" with a stylus tip.

@AJ Glasser: I was gonna be offended - till I saw it was you :)
