@VicViper: Wow, you guys have no sense of humor at all. If you can't you take a humorous break from "serious" news from time to time:

Yeah, but the ultimate final battle trio is Cloud, Red XIII and Tifa.

@TheNewX2: That was just the right amount of reply. You rule :)

@runner73: I was at the auction at one of the Benefactor's tables.

@thedevilsadvocate: Wow, your mouth isn't even connected to your brain. Child's Play is a wonderful charity. Please, stop trolling these boards.

Harry Potter doesn't wear a pointy hat.

"Spread AIDS" should not be in any headline, period :)

The game was being developed by Zombie - and "Nearly Completed" pretty much describes everything they have ever worked on, published or not.

So bummed to find out that he didn't actually author this! This could have been the thing that pushed me over into Cliff's camp.

@phicaluk: Hey now, that's profiling! :)

@wild_world_girl: Wrong gen for the article, but some of the best quotes are from 1st gen PSX!

Don't forget:

Wow, this is a great idea.

Hey, I've got an idea - let's all go trample a Wal-Mart greeter to death to save 30% on a POS TV!

Hey, that's the Bellevue Best Buy! (and I think Shane Kim is in the pic)

@Grive: Sorry, but you are just flat-out wrong.

@Lixie: Sounds about right: 5 years at full staff is about $15 million per year = $75 million. Throw in marketing and you got your $100 million figure. And if it is the first time around, I'd even be wary of this "bare minimum."

Studios need to realize that overly ambitious MMOs require 5 years of fully-staffed production (that means post ramp-up, 100-120 employees) plus 1 year of non-public beta.
