I was disappointed by The Nice Guys mainly because I'm such a huge fan of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (and other movies that Black wrote but didn't direct). Crowe and Gosling were good, and I'd love to see Gosling in particular do more comedy, but it felt like a pale imitation of KKBB.

I so wanted to see Atomic Blonde at the drive-in but couldn't make time. Should be a fun rental some drunken weekend.

Damn is the Kinjapocalypse that close? I can't remember what they said in the discussion last week. Anyway, yeah, if it's anywhere near as unusable as people say, I'm done here too. But I'll see what happens. I'm lazy like that.

My household got rid of cable early this year. It's different for everyone depending on their interests and financial stuff, but even though there's been drawbacks it was a good move for us.

Sure, but will people be able to read it?

I hope you enjoyed it even more this time. I hear a Kinja storm is comin'……things might never be the same.

"Who dis?" - Laurence Fishburne, immediately

It's so dope how it's actually used, with Martin staring at the baby during the bridge of the song. Great example of "show, don't tell".

Arkin, like everything else in the film, is a goddam delight.

That "hurt, pissed, gotta find a new job" line has been quoted and repurposed many times in my household over the years.

Yeah, you should really be outside.

When did Nicolas Cage get a Craigslist account?

It does that to most things.

The headline is just as bad.

That line cracks me up every time. It's such a perfect epitome of Tim's feeble grasp of the language.

Yes

"Need hats for bats. Also need new agent for career."

Yes

It could be worse. In fact, it's guaranteed to be worse.

Wouldn't it make sense for it to be placed in the real "Soundgarden" from which the band took their name?
